Amir Akrout ( Arabic أمير العكروت; *  May 14, 1983 in Sfax ) is a Tunisian football player .

The striker joined Stade Tunisien in February 2006 from a club in the Tunisian third division . In the 2006/07 season he scored 14 league goals for his club in the Championnat de Tunisie .

At the end of January 2008, it was loaned for half a year by the German second division club SC Freiburg for a sum of 200,000 Tunisian dinars (around 110,000 euros) . In addition, a purchase option of one million dinars (approx. 550,000 euros) was agreed, which SC Freiburg did not take. Stade Tunisien then awarded him to al-Wahda in Saudi Arabia for a year .

At the beginning of August 2009 Akrout switched to Club Africain Tunis . He played there until the end of 2011 before returning to Stade Tunisien. From mid-2012 to early 2013 he was without a club before joining Stade Gabèsien . He ended his career there in mid-2014.

Akrout represented his country several times at junior international games.
