Ana Đokić (born February 9, 1979 in Aranđelovac , Yugoslavia ) is a former Montenegrin handball player .

Career

Đokić began playing handball at ŽRK Knjaz Miloš and later joined ŽORK Napredak Kruševac . Between 2002 and 2008 the cyclist went on the hunt for goals for the top Hungarian club Győri ETO KC . With Győri she won the Hungarian championship in 2005, 2006 and 2008 and the Hungarian Cup in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. In the 2008/09 season Đokić played for the Croatian club ŽRK Podravka Koprivnica , with whom they could celebrate the championship and the cup victory. The right-handed player played the following three seasons with the Montenegrin first division club ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica , with whom she won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2010 and the EHF Champions League in 2012 , as well as the championship and the cup three times. In the summer of 2012, she moved to the Russian first division club GK Rostov-on-Don . After Đokić won the Russian Cup with Rostov in 2013, the end of her career was announced. After Đokić received an offer from the Macedonian club ŽRK Vardar SCBT , she decided to continue her career. With ŽRK Vardar SCBT, she won the championship and the Macedonian Cup in 2014. Then she finally ended her career.

Đokić was part of the squad of the Montenegrin national team . With Montenegro she took part in the 2011 World Cup. In the summer of 2012 Đokić took part with Montenegro at the Olympic Games in London , where she won the silver medal. In the same year she won the European Championship with Montenegro .
