Anastasija Valerijivna Pidpalowa ( Ukrainian Анастасія Валеріївна Підпалова ; born January 5, 1982 in Cherson ; born Anastasija Borodina ) is a former Ukrainian handball player who was part of the squad of the Ukrainian national team.

Career

Anastasija Pidpalowa was until September 2002 with the Ukrainian first division club HK Dnepryanka Cherson under contract and then joined the league rivals Motor Zaporizhia. With Motor Zaporozhye, she won the championship five times between 2004 and 2008. In February 2009 Pidpalowa moved to the Romanian club CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea , with whom she won the championship title in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In 2011 she signed the Russian club GK Dynamo Volgograd , with whom she also won the national championship in 2012. During the 2012/13 season Pidpalowa joined Metz handball , with which she won the championship and the French Cup and was in the final of the EHF Cup in the same season . In 2014 she left Metz and joined league rivals Cercle Dijon Bourgogne . In the summer of 2016, she joined Le Havre AC Handball . After Pidpalowa did not receive a contract offer after the 2016/17 season, she ended her career.

Pidpalova played 63 international matches for the Ukrainian selection, for which she scored 220 goals. Her greatest success at the international level was winning the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .
