Andraž Vehovar (born March 1, 1972 in Ljubljana ) is a former Slovenian canoeist .

Life

Vehovar was able to win bronze for Yugoslavia at the Junior World Championships in 1988 and 1990.

In 1995 he made his debut in the World Cup and took part in the Canoe Slalom World Championships . In a single kayak , he was able to secure the silver medal with the team. At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta , he started in K-1 , where he won the silver medal. Just a few weeks later, he achieved the same placement at the European Championships with the team in K-1 in Augsburg and at the 1995 World Championships .
