Andreas Angerer

Andreas Angerer (born April 6, 1990 in Telfs ) is an Austrian politician ( GREEN ). From 2013 to 2017 he was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament .

education and profession

Angerer attended the Josef Schweinester elementary school in Telfs between 1996 and 2000 and then attended the Dr. Aloys-Weißenbach secondary school in Telfs. In 2004 he moved to the HTL Anichstraße , where he specialized in the field of electronics and in 2009 passed the Matura with a focus on technical informatics. As a result, he did his community service at the Federal Police Directorate in Innsbruck between 2009 and 2010 and studied Event Engineering at the New Design University in St. Pölten from 2010 to 2011 . He then worked as a control and safety engineer for the Austrian Federal Railways in Innsbruck until June 2012 . In autumn 2012 Angerer began a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering at the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI).

Politics and functions

Angerer ran in the state elections in 2013 on the 24th place on the state list or on the third place in the Innsbruck-Land constituency and moved up to the state parliament thanks to the government participation of the Tyrolean Greens . He was sworn in as a member of the Tyrolean state parliament on May 24, 2013 and subsequently took on the role of secretary and chairman of the petitions committee. He was also a deputy chairman in the committee for economy, tourism and technology as well as a substitute member in the emergency committee, in the committee for society, education, culture and sport in the finance committee and in the interregional state parliament commission. According to his own statements, his political priorities were in the areas of youth, integration, economy, sport, consumer protection and participation / citizen participation. At the time of his inauguration, Angerer was the youngest member of the Tyrolean state parliament.

On October 1, 2017, Angerer gave up his state parliament mandate and switched to the private sector. Barbara Schramm-Skoficz took over his mandate .
