Anton Dahlem

Anton Dahlem (born December 30, 1859 in Niederlahnstein ; † April 7, 1935 there ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Dahlem attended the higher middle school in Oberlahnstein and initially trained in shipbuilding with his father. In 1879 he switched to high school, first in Koblenz and then in Montabaur . He studied law at the universities of Würzburg , Munich and Bonn . In the legal preparatory service he was employed in Niederlahnstein, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main . Since November 1892 he was a lawyer in Oberstein and since 1904 admitted to the Niederlahnstein district court and the Wiesbaden district court, from 1904 he was also a notary .

From July 1902 to 1918 Anton Dahlem was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and the German Reichstag for the German Center Party in the Wiesbaden 3 constituency ( St. Goarshausen , Unterwesterwald ). He was also the leader of the Nassau Farmers' Association and from 1920 to 1922 an alderman of Niederlahnstein. He was also a member of the district council and a member of the Catholic church council of Niederlahnstein. He was a bearer of the Red Eagle Order, 4th class .
