Antonio Bucciero (born April 19, 1982 ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Career

Bucciero won the silver medal in the junior road race behind New Zealander Jeremy Yates at the 2000 UCI Road World Championships in Plouay, France .

In 2003 he received a contract with the Italian cycling team Saeco (cycling team) , for which he won the first stage of the Bavarian Tour in 2004. In 2005 he switched to the Professional Continental Team Acqua & Sapone-Adria Mobil , where he only stayed for the first four months of the year. During his time without a contract with an international team, he won the one-day race Gran Premio San Giuseppe and a stage of the Giro Ciclistico della Provincia di Cosenza , both races in the second UCI category . In 2007 Bucciero drove for Ceramiche Panaria-Navigare and achieved several top stage placements in international races. Then he ended his international career.
