The argive vase painting was a regional style of Greek vase painting from the city of Argos .

Along with Athens, Argos was one of the centers of geometric vase painting . The Argive pottery painters orientated themselves particularly on the Attic models , which were followed until the late period of the style (around 750/690 BC). Large picture windows in which either horses or men with horses were shown were characteristic of the geometric vases from Argos. Water birds or fish were often depicted in the background. The ornaments are characterized by stepped meanders and orientalizing motifs.
