August Adolf Karl Georg Julius Ludwig von Rheden (born October 19, 1853 on Gut Rheden , integrated community Gronau (Leine) , district of Hildesheim , Lower Saxony ; †  January 3, 1907 ibid) was the 16th Erbdrost von Gandersheim , royal Prussian district administrator and politician.

family

He came from an old noble family of the Diocese of Hildesheim , which first appeared in a document in 1251, and was the son of the 15th Erbdrosten von Gandersheim Georg von Rheden (1819–1874), landlord of Rheden, and Sophie Bock von Wülfingen (House Elze) (1827-1902).

Rheden married on April 23, 1880 in Bückeburg ( Schaumburg-Lippe ) Elfriede of the blankets (Stellenfleth house) (born October 2, 1860 in Fallersleben (now part of Wolfsburg , Lower Saxony ); † May 30, 1930 at Gut Rheden), the Daughter of the royal Prussian forester Christoph von der Betten , co-lord of the Bruchhof, Kinten and other estates, and Maria Strahl . Life

Rheden was landlord on Rheden and Heinum, from 1888 landscape councilor of the Principality of Hildesheim, from 1889 to 1907 royal Prussian district administrator of the district of Gronau , from April 1902 with the award of this title for life in Brunswick 16.
