Bálint Török

Count Bálint (Valentin) Török de Enying (* 1502 ; † 1551 in Yedikule , Istanbul ) was a Hungarian magnate , general, Ban of Belgrade and lord of the Csesznek Castle .

Life

The 1977 New Hungarian Quarterly said he was a magnate who belonged to the king's party and the Hungarian book review said that Balint Török was an immensely wealthy Hungarian aristocrat, whose life was a prisoner of the Seven Towers of Istanbul in 1551 ( Balint Torok, an immensely rich Hungarian aristocrat, who ended his life as a prisoner of the Seven Towers of Istanbul in 1551. ).

The Hungarian city of Törökbálint near Budapest was named after Bálint Török .
