Bernd Graf von Arnim (born December 17, 1868 in Berlin ; † October 3, 1945 ) was a Prussian politician and large landowner .

Life and family environment

Count Adolf Julius Albrecht Bernd von Arnim came from the Boitzenburg line of his widespread Uckermark family. He was born on December 17, 1868 in Berlin as the son of the Vice President of the Prussian Mansion and member of the Prussian Council of State Count Dietloff Friedrich Adolf von Arnim (1832–1887) and Countess Mathilde von Schweinitz and Krain, née Freiin von Kauder (1841–1874) born.

His older brother was the President of the Prussian Manor and Chancellor of the Order of St. John Guido Adolf Georg Dietloff Graf von Arnim (1867-1933). He was married twice: first from 1897 to Bertha Gräfin von der Schulenburg (1874–1949), then after the divorce in 1923 from 1924 to Gertrud Hirche. The only son Hans-Georg Graf von Arnim (1901–1975) comes from the first marriage. He himself died on October 3, 1945 at the Gayen farm near Bad Bramstedt .
