Berry Berenson

Berinthia "Berry" Berenson Perkins (born April 14, 1948 in New York City ; † September 11, 2001 ibid) was an American actress , photographer and model . She was the wife of Anthony Perkins , with whom she had two sons, Osgood and Elvis .

After a short career as a model, she started working as a fashion photographer , supported by Vogue editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland . She was also, among other things for Andy Warhol's magazine Interview operates. By 1973, her work had been published in Harper's Bazaar , Life , Glamor , Vogue and Newsweek . She shot several Life covers in the 1990s , and her work continued to appear in Vogue .

From 1978 to 1982 inclusive, she appeared in four film and television productions.

She died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 as a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11 , which was the first to fly into the World Trade Center .

Her sister is the actress Marisa Berenson , her grandmother the fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli .
