Summer tourism
Just as winter tourism is shaped by skiing and after-skiing, summer tourism is shaped by families and hikers. In the Alps you can find manned and unmanned huts, which are operated by the German and Austrian Alpine Association, among others . You can spend the night here in the summer and, under certain conditions, in the winter as well. For the unmanned huts you can get a key from the Alpine Club with a deposit.
