Bredbyn is a crime scene ( place ) in Ångermanland . The place is located on the west bank of Anundsjösjön , about 40 km northwest of Örnsköldsvik . The legend trail runs through it .

At the northern end of the village, the Norra Anundsjöån and the Södra Anundsjöån flow together to form the Moälven . In addition to the sandy beaches at Anundsjösjön, there is a small swimming area in the village.
