Moliden is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Västernorrlands län or the historical province of Ångermanland . The place is about 20 km west of Örnsköldsvik on Moälven before it flows into the Happstafjärden .

There is one of the largest dance halls in Sweden here. These covered dance floors were particularly popular among young people in the first half of the 20th century. Even today, dance events are held here every year.
