Brian Henton (born September 19, 1946 in Castle Donington ) is a former English Formula 1 racing driver.
Career
In 1974, Henton became the English Formula 3 champion . In the 1975 and 1977 seasons and from 1981 to 1982 he was registered at 38 Grand Prix and was able to qualify for the start 19 times. In 1977 he had his own racing team, the British Formula One Racing Team . His best placement was seventh at the 1982 German Grand Prix. At the Great Britain Grand Prix that same year, he managed to set the fastest race lap.
During his break from Formula 1, Henton started in Formula 2 and became Formula 2 European Champion in 1980.
