The Cadre 45/1 World Championship in 1928 was the second Cadre 45/1 UIFAB World Championship, which was held until 1938 in Cadre 45/1 and from 1967 in Cadre 47/1. The tournament took place in Vichy from June 30th to July 3rd, 1928 . It was the second Cadre 45/1 World Championship in Vichy.

The Egyptian Edmond Soussa , who is taking part in a Cadre 45/1 World Championship for the first time , was also able to win the title. With 12.76 in the general average (GD) and a maximum series of 106 , he also set two new amateur world records. Second place went to the American Francis S. Appleby, who was only last at the first World Cup. Defending champion Charles Faroux finished fourth.
