The Cadre 47/1 World Championship in 1975 was the second Cadre 47/1 UMB World Championship, which was held in Cadre 45/1 until 1938. The tournament took place in Rotterdam from March 20-23, 1975 . It was the second Cadre 47/1 World Championship in the Netherlands, with the first in Cadre 45/1 1935 in Scheveningen .
history
This world championship had a well-deserved winner in Hans Vultink , who was traded as the top favorite before the tournament. All of his results were new world records. That looked completely different after the second round. Against his compatriot Jean Bessems Vultink lost with 39: 300 in 12 shots. But then he played like unleashed and he is the first player to finish a game in one shot ( 300.00 average) in Cadre 47/1 . Since 1975 extended series were still being carried out, the highest series of 386 and the general average (GD) with 42.76 were also world records. The German co-favorite Dieter Müller who only reached fourth place played a very mixed tournament .
