Carina Nicolette Wiese (born February 26, 1968 in Dresden ) is a German actress .

life and career

Wiese attended the 59th “Max Zimmering” polytechnic in the Dresden district of Weißer Hirsch . As a child she was on stage in the youth theater in Pirna . She completed an apprenticeship as a clothing worker with a high school diploma and completed an evening course in painting / graphics at the art academy in Dresden, because she originally wanted to be a costume designer.

From 1988 she studied acting at the "Hans Otto" theater school in Leipzig . She completed her studies in 1991 and got an engagement at the Schauspielhaus Leipzig .

In 2006 she played the role of mother in the film adaptation of the eponymous novel Die Wolke by Gudrun Pausewang , directed by Gregor Schnitzler , which was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize .
