Carl Kleemann (* 1856 in Coburg ; † June 30, 1902 there ) was a German architect and building contractor in Coburg, he carried the honorary title of ducal building councilor .

Live and act

As the son of master bricklayer Karl Kleemann, he went to apprenticeship with his brother, the building inspector Bernhard Kleemann, after finishing school. Carl Kleemann then attended the building academies in Munich and Berlin and soon took over his father's construction business. Around 1884 Kleemann worked at the monastery church in Auhausen .

From 1892 until his death, Carl Kleemann was also head of the city ​​council and in 1901 received the Knight's Cross of the Saxon-Ernestine House Order for his services to his hometown . In 1902 the architect August Berger from Hildburghausen took over Kleemann's construction business and carried out buildings according to his plans until 1913.
