Carlo Schanzer (born December 18, 1865 in Vienna , † October 23, 1953 in Rome ) was an Italian politician and multiple minister.

The lawyer Schanzer was appointed a member of the State Council in 1898 . He served in the first government of Prime Minister Francesco Saverio Nitti from June 23, 1919 to March 14, 1920 as Minister of the Treasury and then as Minister of Finance until May 21, 1920. In the second Nitti government until June 15, 1920 he served again as Minister of the Treasury. From February 26 to October 28, 1922, he was Foreign Minister of his country under Prime Minister Luigi Facta .
