Caroline Aaron

Caroline Aaron (* 7. August 1952 in Richmond , Virginia as Caroline Abady ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Caroline Aaron's mother, Nina Friedman Abady , was an activist who campaigned for civil rights in Alabama in the 1960s . Her husband and father of Caroline died at the age of 38.

Aaron made her debut in the 1982 drama Come Back, Jimmy Dean, directed by Robert Altman . She starred in the comedy Heartburn , opposite Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson . In the comedy Crime and Other Trifles (1989) by Woody Allen , she played one of the bigger roles alongside Martin Landau , Woody Allen and Anjelica Huston . In the comedy Edward Scissorhands (1990) she starred alongside Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder . In Harry beside himself(1997) by Woody Allen she played one of the bigger roles alongside Woody Allen, Kirstie Alley , Judy Davis , Elisabeth Shue and Billy Crystal . In the film drama Bounce (2000), she played alongside Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow . For this role she was nominated for the 2001 Blockbuster Entertainment Award .
