Cherith Baldry

Cherith Baldry (born January 21, 1947 in Lancaster ) is a British writer. She is a member of the Erin Hunter writing team . Under the name Adam Blade , she writes books with other authors for the series Beast Quest .

Life

Cherith Baldry grew up in Lancaster near the Lake District . She studied at the University of Manchester and St Anne's College , Oxford. She then worked for several years as a teacher and lecturer at the University of Sierra Leone .

In addition to her work on the Erin Hunter team of authors and on the Beast Quest series, she writes adventure novels, novels and short stories. She is particularly interested in stories about the Arthurian legend. She wrote the trilogy Eaglesmount (dt. The silver horn ) and the series Abbey Mysteries . In 2002 she was nominated for the British Science Fiction Association Award for the short story Under the Saffron Tree .

Cherith Baldry lives in Reigate . She is widowed and has two sons.
