The Cherry Glacier is a deeply frightened and dynamic glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flows from Mount Adams in the Queen Alexandra chain to the west flank of the Beardmore Glacier .
Scientists of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott named him after Apsley Cherry-Garrard (1886-1959), who acted as an assistant zoologist on this research trip and was involved, among other things, in the southern polar march.
