The Chittagong Divisional Stadium , also known as Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium , is a cricket stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh .
history
The stadium was built in preparation for the 2004 ICC U19 World Cricket Championship .
Capacity and infrastructure
The stadium has a capacity of around 22,000 spectators and is equipped with floodlights. The two ends of the wicket are called the Ispahani End and UCB End .
International cricket
The stadium was first used for a Test and an ODI in the 2005/06 season against Sri Lanka . During the Cricket World Cup 2011 , two group matches were held here. On the tour of Sri Lanka in the 2017/18 season , the pitch of the stadium was rated as below average by the World Cricket Council .
National cricket
In Bangladeshi national cricket, the stadium serves as the home of the Chittagong Division . In the Bangladesh Premier League , the Chittagong Vikings play their home games here.
