Christa Vennegerts

Christa Vennegerts (born August 4, 1951 in Meppen ; † March 5, 2010 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( B'90 / Greens ).

Vennegerts, a trained banker, was a member of the German Bundestag from 1987 to 1990 . It entered parliament via the Baden-Württemberg state list. Before that, she had been a councilor in Böblingen since 1984 . As a parliamentary group spokeswoman, she headed the Green parliamentary group from January 26, 1988 to January 30, 1989 together with Helmut Lippelt and Regula Schmidt-Bott . In the early 1990s she was Vice President of the State Audit Office in Thuringia . Since 1995 she has been the president of the district of Detmold . In 2001 she resigned prematurely for health reasons.

She is buried in the Evangelical Churchyard in Nikolassee .
