Christian Just Wiedeburg

Christian Just Wiedeburg also: Christian Justus Wideburg (* February 21, 1727 in Jena ; † July 7, 1804 in Weimar ) was a German lawyer and government official of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach .

Life

Christian Just was a son of the Jena professor Johann Bernhard Wiedeburg . In 1741 he began studying at the University of Jena , where he devoted himself to law. After completing his studies, he became a lawyer and court clerk in Jena in 1749, where he became a full member of the German Society in 1752. After receiving his doctorate in law in 1757, he became the state syndic of the state estates in Jena and wrote reviews of legal books for the old Jenaische learned newspaper. In 1777 he took over the job of a bailiff in Allstedt and in 1785 was court and government councilor of Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach in Weimar.
