Christian Okpala (born November 20, 1976 in Enugu ) is a football player . He is a native Nigerian with Swiss and Nigerian citizenship .

Okpala played for Enugu Rangers, Hapoel Beer Sheva (1998 to 1999), FC Thun (1999 to 2001), FC Aarau (2001 to 2003), SpVgg Unterhaching (2003), FC Augsburg (2004 to 2006) and the Stuttgarter Kickers ( 2006), where he was suspended with immediate effect in November 2006 because of a physical attack against a teammate. After stints at the southern regional league team Sportfreunde Siegen (2007 to 2008) and SSV Reutlingen (2008 to 2009) - where he had to take a break in the first half of the season due to an inflammation of the heart muscle - Okpala oriented himself in the lower divisions: Since the beginning of the 2009/10 season he still played in the Hessenliga for Viktoria Urberach , then for FC Ober-Ramstadt , BC Sport Kassel and TuSpo Guxhagen .

Okpala scored one goal for SpVgg Unterhaching in ten games in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the Regionalliga Süd he was more successful; in 121 games he scored a total of 50 goals.
