Conny Conrad
Conny Conrad (born September 11, 1958 in Schöntal an der Jagst ) is a German composer , guitar virtuoso , multi-instrumentalist , lyricist and music producer .
Life
He has been playing the guitar since he was four , was soprano with the Künzelsau choirboys from the age of 7 to 12 and learned piano , organ , synthesizer , bass , drums and violin from the age of 15 . During this period he composed his first composition and founded the school band "Black Lady" at the Schlossgymnasium Künzelsau . From 1981 to 1985 his Stuttgart band “Rockingham Palace” ( art and prog rock ) was the opening act for Anyone's Daughter. In 1999 he founded the English-German band Dark Ocean in Australia , which released five CDs and existed until 2009.
successes
In addition to various chart placements , tours and guest performances in many countries (including Australia ), radio and TV presentations and the appointment by GEMA as an extraordinary member as composer and lyricist in 2000, he was the final winner of the German composers competition " International Pop Trophy " and received the Golden Globe award from the VIP-Loge international in 2008 and the cultural award in 2016 for "promoting rock and pop music in Germany".
In 2014 he celebrated his 40th stage anniversary with his current projects "Rock for your children - the song project for children's rights" and "Europeana - the European anthem of hearts" (patron of both projects is Michael Theurer , MEP).
1st prize in the honor category "Culture Prize for the Promotion of Rock and Pop Music in Germany" at the German Rock and Pop Prize 2016 for Conny Conrad.
