The Copa Centroamericana 2014 ( Central American Cup 2014 ) was the 13th edition of the football competition for Central American national teams of the Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol , the Central American Football Association. The tournament, which for the third time was no longer held under the title "UNCAF Nations Cup", took place in September 2014 in the United States on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (UNCAF) . The best 4 of 7 participants qualified for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup . The fifth-placed team played against the fifth of the Caribbean Football Championship 2014 for another starting place. The winner qualified for the Copa América Centenario 2016 , which celebrates the 100th anniversary of CONMEBOL in the USA .
