Life
Stern was nominated at the 2013 Academy Awards for her documentary Open Heart together with Kief Davidson for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film. In 2013 she also produced the feature film Warm Bodies . Shepherd Stern worked as a media consultant for the Skoll Foundation and is one of the founders of the non-profit organization The Strongheart Group .
