Daniel Gonzalo Giménez (born February 19, 1977 ) is a former Argentine soccer player . He currently plays for CA San Martín de San Juan . He is 1.87 meters tall and weighs 102 kilograms.

So far he has played for eleven different clubs in Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. In Argentina he was never able to prevail in the first division and so he only managed six games and one goal in the Primera Division. However, he played all the more successfully in the second division. In 2006 he shot his former club CD Godoy Cruz in the relegation games for promotion, which brought him great popularity. But because of differences between the coaching staff and him, he moved to Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba . During his time at Godoy Cruz, he scored 37 goals in 102 games. Because of his beefy stature, he is called "Tanque" by the fans.
