David Auradou (born November 13, 1973 in Harfleur , Seine-Maritime Department ) is a former French rugby union player. He played on the position of the second-row striker for the club Stade Français Paris in the top division top 14 and for the French national team . At Stade Français he was also team captain.

David Auradou celebrated numerous successes with Stade Français. With this team he was three times French champion (2000, 2003, 2004) and won the Coupe de France in 1999 . In 2005 he was a championship finalist, in 2001 and 2005 he reached the finals of the Heineken Cup .

Auradou has played for the national team 40 times so far. His first international match was against England on March 20, 1999 . He participated in the 1999 World Cup and the 2003 World Cup, where he was used in one and three games. In 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 he took part in the prestigious Six Nations tournament and in 2002 and 2004 he won the “ Grand Slam ” with the national team (victories against all other teams involved).

After the 25:21 semi-final defeat of Stade Français against eventual champions USA Perpignan on May 30, 2009 in Lyon , David Auradou ended his active career.
