history
Until the 19th century
Deilingen was first mentioned in 786 in a deed of donation from the St. Gallen monastery . The village and the hamlet of Delkhofen, mentioned in 1253, belonged to the upper county of Hohenberg , came to Upper Austria in 1381 and to Württemberg in 1805. In the Kingdom of Württemberg the village was assigned to the Spaichingen District Office. The larva (mask) of the fools' guild reminds us of the charcoal burner trade that was practiced earlier .
Incorporation and territory
By contract of July 4, 1860, Deilingen became a composite municipality, consisting of the sub-municipalities of Deilingen and Delkhofen. The two places divided the previously common area in a ratio of 3: 2. In 1909 the Hohenberg district, which was also part of the municipality, was dissolved and part of it was given to Schörzingen. In 1935, the German municipal code forced the transformation of the combined municipality into the unified municipality of Deilingen. During the regional reform in 1938, the community came to the Tuttlingen district .

coat of arms
Blazon : "In red a silver (white) bar, inside a black mason's hammer, accompanied by two black fir trees."
Justification of the coat of arms: The coat of arms approved on June 2, 1927 reminds of the earlier affiliation with the County of Hohenberg to Austria in the years 1381–1805. When designing the coat of arms, the hammer was added as a sign of industrialization and the fir trees for the wooded area. |
Banner and flag
Banner: "The banner is white and red striped lengthways with the coat of arms above the middle."
Hoisted flag: "The flag is striped white and red with the coat of arms in the middle." |

Nevertheless, the commuter balance is negative, with 440 inbound commuters versus 500 outbound commuters. In 2017, the municipality stated 720 jobs for Deilingen.

A 60-meter-high reinforced concrete tower ( type tower ) served as the antenna carrier , which with the antenna mast reached a total height of 91 meters.
