Deon Terry Anderson (* 27. January 1983 in Providence , Rhode Iceland ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the full backs . He played with the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL).

Deon Anderson visited Avon the high school . He played American football there, but also worked as a wrestler . As a wrestler, he was voted All American and won the New England student championship .

Player career

College career

Deon Anderson studied from 2002 to 2006 at the University of Connecticut , where he played college football with the Connecticut Huskies . Anderson played 44 times for his team and scored four touchdowns . Due to an injury, he had to sit out the entire 2005 season. The following year he was named his team's Most Valuable Player (MVP). In 2004 he was able to move into the Motor City Bowl with his team . His team won against the University of Toledo with 39:10.

Professional career

In 2007, Anderson was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round in 195th place in the NFL Draft . Anderson was mainly used as a blocker for the running backs Marion Barber and Julius Jones . Due to an injury, he was only able to play eight games in his rookie year . Nevertheless, his team managed to move into the play-offs , where they failed early at the eventual Super Bowl winner , the New York Giants , with 21:17. In 2008, Anderson missed two regular season games due to a knee injury . In the 2009 season Anderson managed to move into the play-offs again with the team from Dallas .
