Deville is a late night show on the Swiss television broadcaster SRF 1 . It first aired on May 27, 2016 and is hosted by Dominic Deville . His sidekick was Manuel Stahlberger for the first two seasons . From the third up to and including the sixth season, the Romanian actress Ágota Dimén was at his side. From season seven, Patrick Karpiczenko was the new sidekick.

In January 2016 it was announced that the satirical program “ Giacobbo / Müller ” would be discontinued at the end of 2016. It was broadcast on Sunday evening. Through a selection process, SRF set three new comedy broadcast formats, including “Müslüm Television”, “Headhunter” and “Deville Late Night”, each of which broadcast a season of four episodes on Friday evenings. On November 17, 2016, the SRF confirmed that “Deville Late Night” will be the successor to “Giacobbo / Müller” and that, after the second season, a longer third season will be produced in autumn. The new transmission time is 35 minutes.

In February 2017 Deville joined a number of European late night shows and produced the satirical video "Switzerland Second" in response to America First . It was viewed millions of times within a few days.

By canceling the late-night satirical program “Late Update”, which was broadcast for two seasons in 2019, alternating with “Deville”, SRF declared the program “Deville” the new flagship in Sunday evening programs. This step is justified, among other things, with more continuity and stability for the TV audience. Starting in 2020, around 24 episodes are to be produced per year.
