Elmoubadara or National Constitutional Initiative ( Arabic المبادرة الوطنية الدستورية, DMG al-Mubadara al-waṭaniyya ad dustūriyya , French initiative national destourienne , IND ) is a party of the political center in Tunisia .

It was founded - after the Jasmine Revolution - on April 1, 2011 and was formed from the remains of the dissolved Constitutional Democratic Collection (RCD) of the ousted President Ben Ali . Almoubadara is led by Kamel Morjane , former Foreign and Defense Minister under Ben Ali. The Initiative Party expressly supports the representation of former members of the Constitutional Democratic Collection in post-revolutionary politics.

In the 2011 election to the Constituent Assembly of Tunisia, the party received a total of 2.3% of the vote and thus 5 seats in the transitional parliament.

Until December 1, 2013 the party was only called “The Initiative”, after the merger with three smaller parties it was called “National Constitutional Initiative”. The Arabic short name is still Elmoudabara . In the first regular election under the new constitution in October 2014, she received three of the 217 seats. Their party leader Morjane got 1.3% of the vote in the subsequent presidential election .
