Hannelore Elsner alias Lea Sommer

The Commissioner is a German television series. It was broadcast in the evening program of the first from 1994 to 2006 and is repeated at irregular intervals in the third programs of the ARD stations. The series shows the day-to-day work of Chief Inspector Lea Sommer, who investigates for the criminal police in Frankfurt am Main . Hannelore Elsner played the main role .

66 episodes of the series were broadcast. Furthermore, two 90-minute television films ran in 1997 as part of the Tatort series , but the location of the investigation was Hamburg .

Awards

Hannelore Elsner was awarded the Telestar in 1995 for her portrayal of Lea Sommer as best actress in a series .

DVD release

The first two seasons of The Commissioner appeared on two DVDs in October and November 2011 with episodes 1 to 13 and 14 to 26. Seasons three and four with episodes 27 to 39 and 40 to 52 were released in March and April 2012 .
