Doina Weber
Doina Weber (born August 22, 1956 in Stuttgart ) is a German theater and film actress.
Biography and education
Doina Weber was born in Stuttgart in 1956 as the daughter of the art historian Gertrud Henel-Weber and the sculptor Jürgen Weber . She spent the years 1959 and 1960 with her family in Rome on the occasion of a “ Villa Massimo ” grant from her father. Before graduating from high school in 1976 at the Neue Oberschule grammar school in Braunschweig, she took part in numerous school theater productions. This was followed by acting studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna a. a. with Erni Mangold , later the masterclass with Jurij Alschitz (GITIS Moscow / "Akt-Zent" Berlin).
In 1989 their daughter was born.
Engagements
Numerous engagements have taken Doina Weber since the beginning of her career to the Freie Volksbühne Berlin , the State Theater Stuttgart , Schauspiel Essen , Schauspiel Dortmund, Ernst-Deutsch-Theater Hamburg, among others . She was seen at the Wiener Festwochen , the Movimentos Festival, the Berlin Theatertreffen , the Bregenz Festival , the Melk, Perchtoldsdorf , Reichenau and Ruhr Festival Recklinghausen Summer Games . Doina Weber has lived mainly in Vienna since 1999 and has appeared at various theaters such as the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Volkstheater , the Schauspielhaus Wien and Graz and the Nestroyhoftheater Hamakom.
Doina Weber worked in Germany, Austria, Italy and Luxembourg with well-known directors such as Peter Zadek , Hans Neuenfels , Hansgünther Heyme , Anna Maria Krassnigg , Peter Palitzsch , Claude Stratz , Hans-Ulrich Becker , Frederic Lion, Kazimierz Kutz , Wolf-Dietrich Sprenger and Christof Nel .

Teaching
Doina Weber taught as a visiting professor and lecturer at state drama schools (Rostock University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz University of the Arts , Max Reinhardt Seminar Vienna). Since 2011 she has also been working as a presence coach for executives from business and medicine and is a lecturer in the presence module of an ECA-licensed training course for coaches.
