Dorna is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Irnfritz-Messern in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 21 building areas with 12,116 m² and 25 gardens on 21,232 m² in the cadastral municipality of Dorna , in 1989/1990 there were 23 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 37 and in 2009/2010 there were 35 buildings on 80 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 98 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 13 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 98 hectares and 15 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 94 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 16 hectares. Dorna's average soil climate number is 35.4 (as of 2010).
