Elisar was a German car brand.

Company history

The company Gerhard Feldevert & Co. in Gronau , headed by Gerhard Feldevert, exhibited the Elisar at the International Motor Show in 1985 and began producing customer vehicles in 1986. From 1991 at the latest, the company was called GFG Exclusiv-Cars GmbH . In 1992 or 1996 Collo GmbH from Hersel took over production, or at least the trademark rights. Production ended in 2005 at the latest. Collo designed a prototype from 1997 to 2011, which was to be marketed as Collo Elisar.

The only production model was a 1930s- style vehicle that resembles the Mercedes-Benz 540 K. The chassis was made of steel , the body of plastic . The drive was provided by engines from Daimler-Benz , including six-cylinder in - line engines with a displacement of 2300 and 2800 cm³ in the 1988 model year .

Elisar 001

Between 1997 and 2011, Collo designed a nostalgic prototype that was visually unprecedented. Only one vehicle was created, which was sold in 2011 and registered for the first time in 2012.
