Elmar M. Lorey

Elmar Maria Lorey (born February 9, 1941 in Wiesbaden ; † May 11, 2019 ) was a German author and television journalist.

After studying theology, education, psychology and journalism, he worked as a journalist and dramaturge for a television station from 1965. He worked on the Rappelkiste (ZDF), Neues aus Uhlenbusch (ZDF) and other series on German television .

For the Rappelkiste Lorey received the Adolf Grimme Prize with silver in 1975 . He and Susanne van Lessen and Bärbel Lutz-Saal received honorable recognition at the Adolf Grimme Prize for the show Bettkantengeschichten: Brotmarken .

Elmar Maria Lorey lived in the Rheingau until his death .
