Notes on individual parties

FPÖ

In 1949, the Association of Independents was founded , which ran as the electoral party of the Independents (WdU) in the National Council and State Parliament elections. In 1956 he was absorbed by the FPÖ.

The Freedom Party in Carinthia was the regional group of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) in Carinthia from 1986 to 2005 . From 2010 to 2013 it was an independent party in cooperation with the FPÖ. Since 2013 these are again the regional group of the FPÖ.

KPÖ

The Communist Party of Austria traded in Vienna in 1949 as KLS (Communist Party of Austria and Left Socialists) and in 1996 as BRW (Movement Red Vienna). In 2015, she and other groups formed the ANDAS electoral alliance .

LBL

List Burgenland, together with the Stronach team, was elected as the List Burgenland alliance in 2015.

NEOS

The party NEOS - Das Neue Österreich entered the National Council election in 2013 in an electoral alliance with the Liberal Forum and was merged with it on January 25, 2014. This is also a forerunner party, the election results of which are given under NEOS .

ÖVP

  • In Tyrol, the ÖVP operated as ÖVP TIROL in the 2018 state elections.
  • In Vorarlberg she was named VP in the 2014 state elections.

TS

The Stronach team traded as TS in the state elections in Carinthia in 2013, as FRANK in Lower Austria and TEAM in Salzburg. See also LBL!

Team Stronach Kärnten has been an independent party since October 2016 and has been renamed Free Team Kärnten . At the end of 2016, the Stronach Salzburg team declared itself independent from the federal party. In July 2017 the renaming to Free Voters Salzburg was announced.
