Erich Kiefer (* 1903 in Feuerbach ; † 1962 ) was a German engineer and entrepreneur .

Career

Kiefer completed his studies with a degree in engineering . In 1941 he founded a company for ventilation systems , fans and air heaters. After his offices in Stuttgart and Berlin had been bombed out, he came to Gärtringen in 1944 . There he rebuilt production, which soon had more than 500 employees. In particular in the field of drying, the company took a leading position.

He was the builder of Villa Schwalbenhof and the surrounding pine park. From 1953 to 1959 he was a member of the Gärtringen municipal council.
