Erwin Heine

Erwin Heine (born September 19, 1899 in stepsz , Bohemia ; † April 7, 1947 in Schwarzenburg ) was a German writer, journalist and poet.

Life

Heine studied German in Prague. During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Prague fraternity in 1920 . After completing his studies, he worked as a journalist for the Sudeten German daily newspaper until he became editor-in-chief there. In 1934 he moved to the Troppauer Zeitung Deutsche Post , of which he was editor-in-chief. He stayed there until 1938.
