Fabian Del Priore

Fabian Del Priore (born May 27, 1978 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German composer , arranger and sound designer .

Life

He comes from a musical family. He received piano lessons at an early age and at the age of six came across his first computers and consoles in the form of a Commodore C64 and Atari VCS 2600 .

At the age of 16 he got his first assignment as a game music composer, the setting of Blue Bytes Extreme Assault . This project opened the doors for more orders in the computer games , CD - Soundtrack -Vertonung, Multimedia -applications or TV - cinema - and radio productions . He is the main composer in charge of the international music project Merregnon . The best-known game music composers accompany and tell a story with their music that takes place in a complex fantasy universe; in the form of three produced soundtrack CDs with orchestral recordings by members of the Prague Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra .

Several compositions by Del Priore, including an arrangement of Koji Kondo's “The Great Sea” from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker , were performed at the opening concerts of the Games Convention 2003 in the Leipzig Gewandhaus . This concert was the first game music concert in the world outside of Japan. In 2004 and 2005, melodies from well-known classic games were played, for which he wrote orchestral arrangements. Fabian was also involved in the school concert series Heroes of Our Fantasy , organized as a result of the Leipzig concerts , which were performed in Meißen, Riesa and Großenhain in January 2006. The New Elbland Philharmonic Orchestra played. Del Priore was also appointed as arranger for Play! A Video Game Symphony , committed to touring the first global game music concert.

Fabian Del Priore continues to work as a freelance composer on his own label and is in the area of handheld - Video Games for Dynamedion sound design works as a composer and sound designer.
