history

The arena, built in 1999, currently offers 10,300 covered seats (9,800 seats and 500 standing places) and is illuminated by a floodlight system with 1,685 lux . In the same year, Farum Park was one of twelve venues for the U-17 European Football Championship . Among the three games was the final between Switzerland and France (0: 0 a.s., 4: 2 p.

In March 2012 the decision was made to equip the stadium with artificial turf and turf heating . This makes the FC Nordsjælland venue the first artificial turf arena in the Danish highest league.

FC Nordsjælland played in the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League . However, the club played its Group E games in the larger stadium Parken in Copenhagen.

In April 2016, Farum Park was named Right to Dream Park after the Right to Dream Academy , a football academy founded in Ghana in 1999 . The Danish association and the academy cooperate with each other.
