Fatman Scoop (* 28. November 1979 in New York City ; bourgeois Isaac Freeman III ) is an American hip-hop - producer , rapper and radio host .

life and career

Fatman Scoop is best known for his remixes for various artists. He made his breakthrough with Faith Evans and the song Be Faithful , the remix of their 1999 song Love Like This , which reached number 1 in 2003 in Great Britain and Ireland.

Fatman Scoop is often viewed as a pure "party rapper". His most commercially successful piece is Be Faithful . He was also heard on It's Like That by Mariah Carey and on Lose Control by Missy Elliott and Ciara in 2005 .

He is already working with German hip-hop greats. In 2005 he sang the song Come on Baby with Massive Töne and in 2006 he recorded the song Grind On with Kool Savas , which was released on the sampler Optik -Takeover. On the album Hood Star of Chingy he has been a feature on the single Let's Ride represented. In 2010 a remix of the song Das geht ab! Was released on the album Atzen Musik Vol. 2 . by the German rappers Frauenarzt and Manny Marc . Fatman Scoop had a guest appearance on this version of That's What's Up , which was sung entirely in English. In January 2011 he recorded a remix version of Umutsuz Vaka by Demet Akalın , a Turkish singer. He also appears in the accompanying music video.

At the end of 2012 he made a name for himself with a remix of the successful song Gangnam Style by Psy . He also published u. a. Remixes from We Found Love and Turn Up The Music . His remixes are basically characterized by shouts, drops and rap vocals.

In 2013 he worked with DJ Kazzanova on a party break for Scream & Shout and Harlem Shake and his track Big Room Anthem . He was also represented with Francisco and DJ Dolls in their joint song Drop It Low .

In 2015 he was a candidate for the English version of Promi Big Brother / Celebrity Big Brother .
