Fernando Garibay
Fernando Garibay is an American producer and pop music - composer .
First productions
According to his own statements, Garibay produced his first record when he was sixteen. In the years from 1998 to 2006 he repeatedly produced songs by internationally known artists such as Enrique Iglesias , Ricky Martin , Will Smith , Sting and others. His first big success, however, was Paris Hilton's debut single , Stars Are Blind , a work that earned him little love from music critics (quote: The result is… actually not as bad as you'd think .. ) , but the reputation of a potential hit supplier.
The breakthrough
In 2008 he worked with the then unknown Lady Gaga on songs for Britney Spears album Circus (including Quicksand). The two of them continued this collaboration after Gaga's breakthrough and together they wrote and produced the song "Dance in the Dark", which had advanced to become the opener of Lady Gaga's "Monster Ball Tour". He was also involved in the production of Born This Way .
In 2009 Garibay u. a. Write and produce songs for U2 , Whitney Houston and the Sugababes . Most recently he worked with Max Martin on a new CD by Britney Spears.
