Attractions

Saint-Rédempteur church

The Church of Saint-Rédempteur (' Church of the Redeemer ') belongs to the Roman Catholic diocese of Évry . The original church at Fleury was the chapel of the medieval castle . When the castle was destroyed in 1722, the church was also destroyed. A new church was built on the foundations of the church in 1725. The interior of the church was completely renewed at that time. The building was damaged in the Second World War (1939-1945). In 1982 it was restored and the windows were replaced by modern ones. Two of the 18th century picture frames were classified as Historic Monuments in 1930 and brought to the Mairie in 1971.

There is also a Catholic chapel in the detention center.
